2012 - Another year begins

I got slack last year as the heat and drought consumed so much of my time. It was a tough year. A good year but tough.

There is so much that goes on behind the scenes of producing food.

As of today, there are some 3,000 onions started.

Some 500 tomato plants started.

Hundreds of peppers, cabbage, celery, lettuce ... It really is a busy time.

Plus the potting up of maters and such.

And the Winter cover crops continue. Winter wheat and Austrian Winter Peas are really starting to take off.

Lots of green manure to till in. Beds to be reclaimed.

Seeds to be shelled ... there is plenty to do.
